WAN Optimization for Banking Deployments

Banking Networks (or in other words Networks/Deployments done for Banking/Banks), have a unique set of requirements and bottlenecks. As one can understand they expect a high-degree of Network Data security. Yet at the same time they need and expect a highly optimized data tunnels.

With the increase in e-Commerce transactions, and the wide spread of Credit Card Transactions, and ATM machine deployments, WAN Optimization requirements along with (more often combined with) Network Security requirements are increasing sharply year after year.
Most banks will have these days secure dedicated WAN Networks, this makes it highly expensive option. But they have no choice to continue subscribe these expensive dedicated WAN links. Along with that they may also use alternatively secure VPN channels for less intensive and less frequent edge networks. Which means, sometimes it is possible to have dedicated WAN Optimization appliances deployed, and sometimes they need a software based WAN Acceleration solution too. This is the unique scenario where TrafficSqueezer WAN Optimization fills both the gaps, they can build WAN Devices and deploy them, and yet still in their existing end-machines/servers, they can install TrafficSqueezer too.
Not just that, if they have several high-speed aggregated links, they can use scalable redundant TrafficSqueezer machines, to spread this load, and so a inexpensive load-shared Optimized WAN secure banking networks. They can readily use the Cloud extensions and the GUI provided via Doublefish Solutions Aquarium. With Aquarium, they get GUI not just for TrafficSqueezer, they get web-GUI for all their Linux systems, their Linux Squid caching systems, and so on. Although Aquarium is currently available as a shared SaaS GUI version, in a case like banking and other huge deployments they can have their own local Aquarium deployments !
